WHY HAIR?

As an accomplished dentist, business coach, bestselling author, wife, and mother, Honey Envy’s
founder and CEO, Dr. Jarrett L. Manning, gets asked that question a lot. The answer is simple,
she truly cares about the impact of stylish healthy hair.

Growing up, Dr. Jarrett tried every style in the book and did the “big chop” multiple times. She sees hair as a way of setting yourself apart and expressing who you are. She has experienced firsthand the confidence that comes from beautiful moisturized hair and how when your hair is on point your attitude is on point as well. She created Honey Envy to inspire people to love their hair again and to use that confidence to be or do anything!

OUR METHOD

The Honey Envy Method was developed with hair health front and center.  Dr. Jarrett has a Bachelor of Science in biology from Xavier University, a master’s in Public Health from Tulane University, and a doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Tennessee. It took about a year of working with the lab to come up with the right formulas, but together with a chemist she created a product that includes natural botanical ingredients that she has been using since she first went natural in the early 2000s.

A key ingredient is, of course, honey! Honey helps maintain moisture. It is a natural humectant, meaning it takes the moisture from the air and seals it in your hair and skin, keeping hair conditioned, breakage reduced, and manes healthy and strong from root to tip.

After learning about the Honey Envy Method, the same people who were asking “why hair?” changed their tune to “of course hair!” Dr. Jarrett’s passion for the connecting power of great hair and her desire to leave a legacy of self-love and creating a style that is uniquely yours, fits right into the other roles she plays. As she continues to be a dentist, business coach, author, wife, and mother she will do it all with great hair.
